This apparatus is used for finding out disintegration time of tablets like uncoated or plain coated tablets. Buccal tablets, Enteric coated tablets, Sublingual tablets & Hard Gelatin capsules. A motorized shaft moves in up & down direction at a frequency of 30 cycles per minute. Holds 6 glass tubes of standard size with stainless steel wire gauge bottom. Cylinder moves up & down with standard dish inside in a 1 liter beaker filled with distilled water which is maintained at 37°C by thermostatic controlled hot plates. Supplied without beaker. It works on 220V/50Hz AC.
